Chrissie Beavis was born into Rally Racing; her parents founded the California Rally Series in the 70's and competed in open class Subaru's in the 90's. As soon as she could get her driver's license, Chrissie was following in her mother's footsteps on the route to become one of the top co-drivers in the United States. Since then, she has guided many top drivers such as Tanner Foust, Ramana Lagemann, Rhys Millen, and now Travis Pastrana. Her co-driving career is highlighted by many wins including X Games Gold and Silver (2007, 2008), an overall win at the 2005 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, and the 2006 USRC National Co-drivers Championship.
Chrissie's skills beyond reading pace notes made her a logical choice for Pastrana. She campaigned her own rally car in the California Rally Series landing several class wins and overall podium finishes. On top of that she was even her own top mechanic! If Chrissie and Travis should ever encounter any trouble it's quite possible Chrissie will manage any roadside repairs.
When Chrissie isn't in a rally car or teaching performance driving, she runs her architectural design and fabrication firm in San Diego, California. Her formal degree in Architecture and her hands-on building experience has proved to be a successful combination for her business which focuses on sustainability by using environmentally conscious design and construction techniques.
