Subaru of New England Retailers believe in making the world a better place and the Subaru Love Promise is our vision of respecting all people.

This is our commitment to show love and respect to our customers and to work to make a positive impact in the world.

Helping others is the key to a strong community which is why Subaru and our retailers believe in helping to support individuals and families in urgent need. During Subaru Loves to Help® month, we partner with Operation Warm, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Subaru is proud to be the largest automotive supporter of Operation Warm.

This February Subaru Stamford was proud to partner with the Boys and Girls Club of Stamford for this year's Operation Warm mission! We had the opportunity to present children at the Boys & Girls Club with 108 winter coats. This essential item not only helps keep children protected, warm, and dry, but it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being. This is why Subaru Stamford was honored to be apart of this year's Operation Warm mission!

Subaru Loves the Earth

At Subaru, we believe what we leave behind is a reflection of who we are. That's why for over two decades, Subaru has been committed to leaving a legacy of protecting and conserving the earth for future generations. Along with our retailers across the country, Subaru works to reduce waste, conserve resources, and preserve natural spaces - taking real, meaningful steps to achieve these goals.

We believe that loving the environment is more than loving the great outdoors - it means working to preserve it! Each year we proudly support the Connecticut Cleanup, an annual trash cleanup effort organized by Save the Sound; taking place at West Beach. Each year, dedicated volunteers gather to help preserve the environment and our coastlines by removing trash from where it doesn't belong - our communities and waterways. In partnership with Connecticut Cleanup volunteers, we've removed over 10,000 lbs. of litter from 133 miles of coastline.

Now more than ever, Subaru is in constant pursuit of opportunities that will protect our planet for the future. With upcoming initiatives that include expanding our zero-emission and electric vehicle lineup to eight vehicles by around 2029 and exploring innovative new ways to make a difference, we're keeping our eyes on the road ahead to protect the environment for generations to come.

Subaru Loves to Care

Approximately every three minutes, a person in the U.S. is diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma. The recovery can be long and often leaves them feeling weak, cold, and isolated. At Subaru, we believe we all should have a chance to lead a healthy life.

Through our Love Promise and Subaru Loves to Care® initiative, Subaru and our retailers partner with LLS and their local hospital or cancer treatment center to give warm blankets, patient care kits, and encouraging messages of hope, written by retailers and Subaru customers in their stores, to support patients facing cancer. Subaru and our retailers are providing over 8,500 blood cancer patients financial relief to help offset non-medical costs associated with treatment, such as transportation, food, housing, utilities, etc. through the LLS Patient Aid Program.

By the end of this year, Subaru and our retailers will have supported nearly 300,000 cancer patients nationwide.

Subaru Loves Learning

Subaru retailers help local schools and students in need through our partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org (AAC) and help expand our collective impact on education. Retailers adopt classrooms at partner schools by providing financial support to address specific resource needs.

Millions of students in high-needs schools lack the supplies and learning materials they need to be successful in the classroom. In fact, 92% of classrooms have students whose families cannot afford to purchase any school supplies for their children, often requiring teachers to purchase resources using their own money.

Subaru and our retailers are continuing our support of education and high-needs schools in our communities through Subaru Loves Learning® by providing teachers across the country with funding to purchase the school supplies and resources they know are most needed to help students thrive in the classroom.

Subaru Loves Pets

According to the ASPCA®, each year approximately 6.3 million companion animals enter shelters. At Subaru, we believe all pets deserve to find loving homes.
Through our Love Promise and Subaru Loves Pets® initiative, Subaru retailers partner with a local animal organization in their community and host adoption events across the country to help local shelter pets find loving homes. New for 2024, retailer support will provide funding directly to their shelter partners through a grant administered by the ASPCA.

"Lucky us! Lucky Dog Refuge was fortunate to be selected by @subaru_stamford again for its annual #SubaruLovesPets month! Subaru Stamford welcomed 13 of our adoptable dogs to its dealership for three awesome adoption events. Our Lucky Dogs had a great time meeting potential adopters, socializing, and being spoiled by the Subaru Stamford Team. They were given amazing @bark toys (the Chewbaru Outbark is a favorite!), new parent kits, Subaru's seat belt harnesses and travel bowls, bandanas and frisbees. Most of all, they were greeted with an abundance of affection and attention by the Subaru Stamford Team and visitors, which meant the world to our rescue dogs and to us as well." -Kristin M., Lucky Dog Refuge

Subaru Share the Love

Over $288 million donated to charity.

Over the last 16 years, through the Subaru Share the Love® Event, Subaru and our participating retailers have donated more than $288 million to charity, with customers choosing between four national charities and nearly 2,300 hometown charities.

Through Subaru Share The Love we had the opportunity to present our most recent donation check in May, 2024 to both the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford and Lucky Dog Refuge. The Subaru Share the Love Event takes place every year from mid-November to early January.

During this time, Subaru of America and the team at Subaru Stamford donate a portion of proceeds from every new car sale to one of four national charities, or a local hometown charity here in the Stamford area. We were thrilled to partner with both the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford and Lucky Dog Refuge this past year and were excited to present our donations to these local charities. Thank you for all the support making this community initiative possible year after year!
