Trim levels in the 2023 Subaru WRX
The new Subaru WRX gives buyers in Norwalk and White Plains, CT a total of four trims to choose from:
The Base is an affordable money-saver but the Premium trim gives you a lot to like for relatively little more, especially if you get the standard 6-speed manual transmission. Premium gives you a good combination of features at a high-value price. The automatic-only GT model is fully loaded and is worth your serious consideration.
The WRX with a six-speed manual transmission can go from zero to 60 MPH in 5.5 seconds and do the quarter-mile in 13.9 seconds at 101 mph. The GT model, with a standard CVT, is slightly faster at 5.4 seconds getting to 60 MPH. The GT is slower in the quarter mile, getting to that mark in 14.1 seconds at 101 mph.
Fuel economy
The EPA has rated the new 2023 Subaru WRX with 19 MPG on city streets and an impressive 26 MPG on highways around Greenwich and Port Chester, CT. In an age of inflated fuel prices and high-priced everything, that's very good news, especially for a high energy motor sports car like this one. Even better: The experts at Car and Driver took the six-speed manual WRX Limited and the WRX GT automatic out for a test run and achieved 28 MPG on the highway.
